In march of 2022, Active Development Association welcomed 36 young people from 6 countries to Slănic Moldova for the REPUTATION youth exchange to learn about antigypsyism and how to combat it in their communities. They would learn in the course of 12 days how to navigate public discourse against the Roma community and how to counteract it with individual or organized actions. They would also learn about the history of the Roma community, how a positive portrayal of the roma community should look like, and they also learned how to create multimedia tools that can be used in responsible campaigns.
During the 12 days, they realized that, in order to create a space to address the issues the Roma community is facing in an efficient way, we need to appeal to people’s core values. Because of this, they developed 4 short graphic books that tackle values and exemplify positive actions and attitudes which they wish to see in their community.

The Reputation Project is implemented by Active Development Association and is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of European Union.
